Taking a break due to a J-O-B....yay!!!!

I know, I know....I've been uber remiss in posting. I have been travelling a lot for job interviews and recently have been to Montana and Kansas for two final interviews. I was definitely torn between two really good jobs. The one in Kansas made a generous offer and had an excellent community; however, was way too far away from home. I knew if I took that job I would extremely rarely see my family. The Montana job actually has a lot of potential for me doing good for the people and has a MS degree that meshes well with what I already have done. It pays significantly less but the people and landscape are beautiful, PLUS it's much closer to home. There is plane, train and automobile travel available, in addition to great hunting, which is a huge pull for my dad. I'm confident the family will visit frequently and that's very important to me! :)

So I accepted the Montana State University position and am currently looking for a place to stay. This is proving to be quite difficult due to nothing being listed online, not being able to reach people on the phone, rentals not allowing dogs and just a general housing shortage. I've put calls in with the current family and consumer sciences agent to see what she can come up with....it looks relatively positive. I am keeping my fingers crossed that something in the country which allows pets comes open for me. Please help me pray for that!

I probably will be absent for a while - I need to get a lot of things in order prior to my start date of June 28th. Be good; make safe choices! :)
