I am exauhsted! Last week I was in New Mexico for two interviews in virtually opposite subject areas, and then this week I was in El Dorado, Arkansas for an interview. Three seperate time zones, plus a daylight savings time jump did not help! The New Mexico positions have a minimum three week decision period while the Arkansas position should be by the end of the week. I was feeling pretty good about this job, being number one on the list after interviews. After chatting with the 'boss' last night I am now frustrated. I wonder why people go through an extensive interview process just to have he token candidate pool. Grrr....I am in the waiting game. I could be dead wrong but it's looking more and more like Pullman in the fall but once I have tat MS I'm still stuck with the question, "Why do you want to be here?" People, where else am I going to go?!? Thanks to Gregoire and her infinite wisdom are systematically eliminating the state's extension program. *big sigh* We shall see what happens. :/
